The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Wang's paper, data on haloarchaea and a future project with methanogens. It turned out that we've created the hyducton concept and founded the MLCCS.
2nd meeting in Barcelona (Spain)

Taking advantage of a scheduled visit of Ray to Dave during his sabbatical in Barcelona, the MLCCS met to advance on the hyducton concept.
3rd meeting in Davis, CA (USA)

The agenda was concentrated on writing the hyducton paper and crafting a draft of the halo paper.
4th meeting in Yosemite, CA (USA)

With the hyducton paper out to review, we ended up finalizing the halo paper. Moreover, we've crafted the methanogen paper, which is strongly tied to the hyducton concept.
