Dr Lars Wörmer: Post Doc Fellow at MARUM (University of Bremen) has been frequently collaborating with the MLCCS both as co-author and by kindly proofreading our manuscripts.

Miriam Sollich: PhD candidate at MARUM (University of Bremen) interested in lipidomics analysis of organisms inhabiting marine hydrothermal systems. Miri has recently visited the headquarters of the MLCCS at Davis (Feb 2016) to discuss results from her thesis with Ray.

Megumi Shimizu: PhD candidate at Duke University had attended the last international meeting of the MLCCS in Nov 2015 to discuss lipid data related to global warming. Megumi is currently wrapping up her thesis to defend in May!

Sayuri Miyamoto's Lab: Located at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (Brazil), Sayuri's lab is focused on studying lipid modifications as products of the action of free radicals and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species in biological systems. Sayuri is particularly interested in the detection and quantification of these products as well as in characterizing the chemical mechanisms involved in biological effects mediated by these modified lipids. By interacting with Sayuri's group, the MLCCS will greatly benefit from their established chemical models to further knowledge on the oxidative stability of lipid membranes of cells and organelles.
